Notable changes to GE IQ, newest first. Micro-tweaks and minor bug fixes are omitted; the intent is a readable log of what changed for merchants, not a commit stream.
Proof behind the grades
We backtested the A to F flip grades against historical Grand Exchange prices. Across roughly 40,000 past moments, higher grades were consistently more likely to still be tradeable and profitable half an hour later, stepping down cleanly from A to F. Easier flipping on your phone
You can now sort the item list on your phone. A new Sort control above the list orders by price, margin, ROI, volume, grade and more, in either direction. Pick Buy Price, low to high, to see the cheapest flips first.
The advanced filters now line up in a tidy grid on mobile instead of scattering across the screen.
Hot Flips now respects your budget and account type: filter to F2P or Members and hide spikes priced above your budget, so you only see flips you can actually buy.
Hot Flips also shows the A to F grade of each spike, with a Hide traps toggle to skip low-grade spikes that look great but are too illiquid to flip.
Hot Flips now knows how long each spike has been running the moment you open the app, so you can tell whether you are early or already late, instead of waiting for the page to build up history.
Hot Flips is now ranked by "Heat" by default: spike size blended with how liquid and profitable the item is, so genuine opportunities top the list instead of huge margins on dead items. You can also sort by how fresh a spike is.
The Item Finder now opens on the best flips by default, ranked by flip score (return, volume, and buy limit), so you land on genuinely tradeable items instead of a raw list led by high-margin but untradeable collectibles.
New: hot-flip alerts. Set your Hot Flips filters, tap "Alert me", and GE IQ pings you (a browser notification plus the bell) when a new strong spike appears that matches your rules, as long as you have GE IQ open in a tab.
A fresh, more modern look
New look across the whole site: a cleaner, more modern dark theme with less brown, plus a slightly deeper light theme, and the guides now match.
The app feels more alive: a soft, gently shifting glow behind every page, cards that ease in as you scroll, and buttons that light up on hover.

Every item now shows why it earned its A to F flip grade. Tap "Why grade A?" on any item to see what makes it a strong or weak flip.
New "How flips are scored" guide that explains, in plain terms, how every number is worked out, including the 2% GE tax.
Tidier item view: a quick one line summary at the top, with empty and unhelpful rows now hidden instead of cluttering the page.
A ready-made buy plan
"Your next flip" now gives you a full buy plan for your free GE slots: exactly what to buy, how many, the profit to expect and how long it should take, based on your cash and how much risk you want.
The Updates page now sums up what each game update did to prices in one plain sentence.
Smoother all round: pages no longer look empty or broken while prices load, buttons are easier to tap on your phone, and info popups no longer run off the edge of the screen.
