OSRS Portfolio Tracker
A merchant with 8 slots and no ledger is running a portfolio blind. The GE IQ portfolio tracker sits inside the app and keeps every active flip visible: what you bought, what you are selling at, what the market thinks each position is worth now, and what your profit is net of the 2% Grand Exchange tax.
Eight slots, one view
The tracker mirrors the eight Grand Exchange slots you actually have in-game. Each row is one item you have committed to. Add the item, enter your buy price, and the tracker keeps the position live against the OSRS Wiki API price data.
What each position shows
- Item and icon. Matches the item's Grand Exchange entry.
- Buy price. What you actually paid, entered by you.
- Current sell price. The live insta-buy price from the OSRS Wiki API, refreshed every two minutes.
- Target sell price. Optional. Your planned sell price so you can watch it approach.
- Unrealised P&L. What you would make if you closed the position at the current price, net of the 2% tax.
- Buy limit timer. Counts down four hours from the first fill so you know when the next cycle unlocks.
Realised P&L is always net of tax
When you close a position, GE IQ records the realised profit. The 2% Grand Exchange tax has already been deducted by Jagex when the sale filled, so the recorded amount is what actually landed in your bank. Nothing is double-taxed and nothing is estimated.
Free vs Premium
Free accounts get 2 portfolio slots. Premium unlocks all 8. That is the split; there is no separate "advanced portfolio" being held back on the Premium tier. See pricing.
Cloud sync
Your portfolio lives in browser localStorage by default so nothing leaves your device. The optional Cloud Sync feature uploads your data to a Firebase entry keyed by a 6-character code so you can pull it in on another device. No email, no password. See the privacy policy.
Export and P&L dashboard
The P&L dashboard summarises session and lifetime performance across everything the portfolio has recorded. Trade history can be exported to CSV on the Premium tier for offline analysis or record-keeping.
What it does not do
- It does not place offers for you. You still place the buy and sell in-game.
- It does not read your OSRS account. Every value comes from you or from the public Wiki API.
- It does not predict future prices. Unrealised P&L is a snapshot at the last price refresh.
